Dear Coalition Member:
The Coalition just completed its first video to help move this project along in 2011. To view it, please go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4HjHCzK7_s or visit our website.
I am asking all 125 Coalition members to help make the video go viral. Here’s how:
Share this with everyone on your staff and board and encourage them to share it with their family, friends and colleagues using email, Facebook or other social media.
Send it or make it available to your members and encourage them to share it.
Include a link to the Coalition home page (www.nmap2015.com) somewhere on your home page or web site or please ask your webmaster to embed the YouTube video directly onto your site.
Notify any media with which you have a relationship to view the video and do a brief story that includes a link to the video.
Send a brief note and the video link to your Hill contacts.
Send it out to your own family and friends and your extended list of contacts.
Our goal is to have as many people as possible across the nation from every background view the video and start thinking about the National Museum of the American People which will tell their stories.
We plan to announce the Coalition at a press event in Washington during the last week of January and to have a bipartisan Congressional Resolution introduced in mid-February that calls for a Presidential Commission to study establishment of the Museum. I’ll be sending more information about these plans in early January.
Thank you again.
Best regards,
Sam
